Jim Paice MP to open NSA North Sheep 2009

NSA North Sheep 2009, to be staged on Wednesday, 3 June at Laund Farm, Chipping, Preston by kind permission of the Stott family, will be officially opened by shadow spokesperson for agriculture and rural affairs, Jim Paice MP.
The National Sheep Association northern region's biennial one day event which has attracted over 200 exhibitors, including 42 sheep breed societies, will once again it is expecting a crowd of more than 6,000 sheep farmers. NSA will also be welcoming overseas visitors keen do business; they represent more than 10 countries and will be traveling from as a far a field as Romania.
NSA North Sheep organiser, Julie Sedgewick comments: "We are delighted that Jim Paice MP has taken up our invitation to officially open NSA North Sheep 2009. We are looking forward to the opportunity of hearing his thoughts on the industry, how a change of government would be of benefit to sheep farmers and how we can work together to face the numerous challenges both immediate and longer term."
She adds: "The event is offering one of the most comprehensive programmes of activities ever, each of which has been carefully designed to provide every member of the industry with opportunities for business reflection and more informed decision making.
